PFFMA is excited to once again host the Annual Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Heritage. Heritage Day has a great tradition of being a gathering of fly fishing enthusiasts of all ages, interests, and skill levels coming together to celebrate Pennsylvania’s Fly Fishing Heritage.

There will be presentations and demonstrations by regional and nationally known experts on various fly fishing subjects. In addition, attendees will learn about fly fishing from exhibitors, vendors, fly tiers, bamboo rodmakers and other artisans. You can bring your fly fishing memorabilia and have it appraised by one of the antique tackle dealers. And there will also be great raffles and don't be left out on the crowd’s favorite... The Rubber Fish Race!
- Pre-registration must be received by June 11th to reserve lunch.
PRE-REGISITRATION IS CLOSED
- $12 admission fee includes a tasty buffet picnic lunch.
- Registration (without lunch) the day of the event is $7.
- There will be only a limited number of buffet lunch tickets available the day of the event at an additional cost of $8 so we highly recommend pre-register before June 11th.

Admission is FREE for anyone 15 years old or younger!
Plus, there will be a FREE Youth Drawing with some great prizes.
Youth can pre-register for the buffet picnic lunch for $6. |

Listed below are some of the activities currently scheduled.
- Fly Casting – One-on-one instruction and demonstrations. Improve your casting skills or try casting for the first time with expert fly casting instructors such as Bobby Clouser, Ed Jaworowski, Scott Loughner, Dave Rothrock, and Emily Zeiders from 9am to 3:30pm!
- Remembering George Harvey (1911-2008) - Joe Humphreys will provide a special presentation about this remarkable legend.
- “Split and Glued by Vincent C. Marinaro”– Meet the authors, Bill Harms and Tom Whittle, of this exciting new book.
- Fly Casting Competition – NEW! A fun and friendly competition for accuracy and distance.
- Women's Fly Fishing Network - There will be a session devoted to women fly anglers to meet and discuss fly fishing opportunities.
- Colonial Angler – The Colonial Angler, Ken Reinard, will be present in character and in costume to show you what fly fishing in the 1770s was all about.
- PA Fish & Boat – The Commission will have an exhibit and distribute information.
- Fly Tying Demonstrations - Watch notable fly tiers demonstrate their favorite patterns.
- Aquatic Insects – Stream-side sessions on aquatic insect identification presented by Greg Hoover, specifically tailored for anglers.
- Casting Cane – Meet cane rod builders and try casting various spilt cane rods.
- Antiques “MeadowShow” – Like the Antiques RoadShow, Jerry Girard, an expert in appraising vintage bamboo rods and tackle, will be on hand to look over your treasures.
- Rubber Fish Race – The fundraiser for the PFFMA is this fun and exciting Rubber Fish Race in the Yellow Breeches at 12:30, patterned after Rubber Ducky Races and the Kentucky Derby! $500 cash grand prize!! You do not have to be present to win!
- Plus Many Wonderful Fly Fishing Vendors and Exhibitors!
